Padma Shri Awardee and National Award winner Vidya Balan says that the day is not far away for her from winning an Oscar. She says that she has been lucky so far to receive all the accolades and awards and if the good roles continue to come her way like they are now, Oscar is not that far away for her.
We guess its time someone told her Oscars, are not another Indian Awards and one doesn’t get them by acting in Indian films. Being part of Cannes Jury one wished the actress knew what she says before passing off such statement more so looking at the kind of work she has been doing.
Vidya Balan’s latest release was Shaadi Ke Side Effects and it hasn’t got her the success or critical acclaim she hoped for. The actress will be next seen playing a detective in Bobby Jasoos.
