Which True Blood Star Drinks Blood – For Real?!

Posted on the 17 August 2014 by Truebloodnetcom @truebloodnet

I wouldn’t say regular, no. No, not regular. Uh … [Laughs.] I don’t know. Maybe a couple times a year? It’s more like on an impulse. When you make me spell it out like this, it sounds strange… I guess the best way to put it is sometimes I just like the way it tastes… Absolutely. I’m absolutely particular. [Laughs.] It’s not like it’s just anybody’s! That particular night, it was my girl. Yeah.

Speaking of girlfriends, what did Jim think of rescuing his current girlfriend as well as his ex (who he can’t remember dating thanks to being glamoured) in Episode 8 (entitled Almost Home)?

It was mostly just a reactionary thing. It was not really heroic, or part of a stance against vampires. It’s just, My girl ran off. I want to see where she is, I walk into this room and there’s this hellish torture unfolding. I guess the reaction to that would be, if you had a gun, to shoot whoever is carrying it out. That’s sort of the way I played it, just like, Holy shit! This is different! And then he’s got to smoke the person who’s causing the problems. And he saves a whole roomful of people. But it’s not because of a decision that’s made as much of a response to what’s happening in front of his face.
