What I Ate Today: Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge Ice Cream

By Calvin Eaton @glutenfreechef5

avocadoGuess what surprise ingredient gives this vegan “icecream” its creamy, rich, and decadent texture? Does the picture give it away? If you guessed Avocado, you win. I think avocados deserve some sort of award, a stand ovation, or something for being such a awesomely amazing super food. Is it a vegetable or a fruit? Are avocados fattening? The debate lives on but I couldn’t care less. What I do care about is this creamy and delicious frozen dessert that I tastespotted over on Real Sustenance run by food blogger Brittany Angell.

ChocolateChip PB icecream
This ice cream is super simple to make and if you are a vegan ice cream lover like me you won’t be able to put your spoon down. Even better it is naturally gluten free. What better way to get your kids to eat their veggies than by sneaking avocado in their ice cream. Click the link below to view the recipe!

Happy Ice cream Making,
