Wednesday Hump Day Feast at Tom’s Kitchen

By Foodie Cravings @foodiecravings

I used to go to Tom’s Kitchen for my take-away coffee and breakfast meetings when I was working in the city full-time. I’m not a morning person so getting into the city was always a rush and the ladies at Tom’s Kitchen got to know my latte pretty well. It was pretty much made by the time I approached the counter. My breakfast and coffee meetings were regularly at Tom’s Kitchen as the spacious tables meant we could spread our paperwork out, plus they do great bacon and eggs.

So when I received an email from one of the owners inviting us to taste Tom’s Kitchen’s new hump day feast, burger boy and I happily went along to their second Wednesday Hump Day Feast last month before heading to Singapore for my 30th.

How Tom’s Kitchen’s Wednesday hump day feast works is that you get up to 5 food courses for $35 per person, the guys will keep serving you food until you say stop. The menu changes each Wednesday which I think is great as it gives the Chef creative freedom.

I thought the food we sampled was OK but not a stand out. In saying this, 5 courses at $35 per person is crazy cheap so if you work in the city and are looking for somewhere to go for a casual feed then it’s worth a try. Plus, the menu does change every week so the courses I’m sure would be different to what we had.

This is the hump day feast burger boy and I trialed at Tom’s Kitchen…
