Story: Wander starts when a former detective turned private investigator Arthur Bretnik (Eckhart) gets offered a new case. His closest friend Jimmy Cleats (Jones) encourages him to take it, as they can look deeper into a conspiracy the two believe. One that surrounds the death of Arthur’s daughter.

As Arthur searches deeper into the case, he learns about a dark truth. One that sees him needing to put everything on the line to expose to give himself peace in life.

Verdict on Wander

Wander is a thriller that follows a private detective that dives into a new case. A case that could help answer questions that would help him solve the mystery of what happened to his daughter. Leading him down a dangerous path of conspiracies.

This is a thriller that puts out an interesting idea. Sadly, it ends up falling into the idea that we truly don’t know what is going on. Leaving too much of the movie looking disorientated like Arthur is meant to be. The movie tries to bring us a mystery that would keep us guessing but only ends up leaving us feeling flat by the outcome.

Final Thoughts Wander offers up an interesting mystery but gets stuck trying to keep us guessing.
