What’s new Metalheads! Today I’m going to present on MetalWind a young metal band from Bulgaria which is called Voltage. These guys from Dupnitsa play a great Melodic Thrash Metal and they come loaded with ideas, with a lot of enthusiasm and with a strong, young and noble spirit determined to bring forward his nice musical project, Voltage band.
Voltage was formed in 2011 by four Bulgarian guys with an admirable and interesting goal: to follow the steps of their favorite bands like Metallica or Trivium and go their own way in the world of heavy metal, working everyday for their dreams and evolve and grow as a band.
It is not an easy road, but it will no doubt be a path exciting and full of positive and enriching experiences that motivate them to promote their music and Voltage band beyond Bulgaria. From MetalWind I would like to send a greeting and all our support to Voltage band and also to Borislav Zahariev for his friendship and collaboration with MetalWind, thanks.
In Voltage’s music we can find a good Melodic Thrash Metal sound with great and powerful songs like “We are Coming!”, “Obey” or “Fear Me”. They have at this moment 15 own songs in their repertoire and some Metallica covers like “Seek and Destroy”, “The Four Horsemen” or “Master Of Puppets”, which they usually play on their shows.
I would like to highlight a Voltage’s own song called “Alone” which I recommend to listen it. This powerful track has a great sound and it has captured my attention, because its lyrics I think that nicely defines the philosophy of the band, the spirit of Voltage and their goal. “Alone” injects you positive energy and spirit to achieve your dreams which I think it’s something very important in our lives, and I confess that I often identified with this song.
