Video Branding and Marketing: The Most Powerful Method of Creating a Strong Mental Impression

Posted on the 24 June 2013 by Gumptionent @gumptionent

According to John Bonini of IMPACT Branding and Design, the rate of people watching online video marketing continues to increase. He shares in his article the statistics from resources, such as HubSpot and Video Brewery, about the high demand for online video marketing:
·53.5% of the population and 70.8% of Internet users would watch online video in 2012                  ·100 million Internet users watch online video every day                  ·90% of online shoppers say they find video helpful in making shopping or buying decisions                  ·Visitors are 64% more likely to buy a product online after watching a video                  ·59% of senior executives would rather watch a video than read text
Richard D. Waters and Paul M. Jones reiterate:
“While pictures reinforce the words and content of identity-oriented messages, the creation of organization videos may be the most powerful methods of creating a strong mental impression of the organization in the public’s mind. Videos enhance the public’s impression of the organization’s products or services, put a human face on the organization, and ultimately build the brand.”
Waters and Jones use the concept of the three V’s of communication: verbal, vocal, and visual. When these three V’s are brought together in the video form, an audience is impacted on multiple communication fronts and is more likely to remember the key messages. That being said, videos can be used for one-way communication from an organization to its stakeholders or to engage in conversations through multiple social media platforms. Social media offers a myriad of opportunities to individuals. It enables the ability to embed an organization’s videos on blogs and social networking sites, and it facilitates the sharing of the video’s web address. Moreover, studies indicate that using YouTube videos in communication campaigns is exponentially increasing as the viral marketing trend continues to be a hot trend in organization communication.
That being said, Gumption Entertainment is an entertainment company that provides management, consulting, video branding, producing and creative solutions for businesses and individual clients. By providing visual content and management services, the company helps brand and optimize the identities of professionals and businesses. The trend of video branding was started several years ago, but it is increasingly becoming one of the most crucial ways to connect with audiences. According to Deborah Genovesi, “a well-crafted video establishes your personality, builds relationships with clients and prospects, and is a useful brand-building tool."
As you know, the real estate market is making a recovery. Market demand and home values are rising again. In a 2013 report in the LA Times, Lauren Beale claims that California’s luxury housing market is booming. Data from a real estate information service reported that the number of homes statewide selling at more than $5 million reached an all-time high last year, while those selling at $1 million or more rose to the highest level since 2007. Lauren Beale adds that the sales are up because affluent U.S. and international buyers are confident that the housing recovery is solid and are looking for places to park their cash. The reason I tell you this is because there is a niche market right now that involves marketing multi-million dollar estates with promo videos and short scripted films. By using scripted films with actors and actresses portraying life in the house, the house sells quicker and the purchase price can even be kept higher, allowing more profit.
We are looking for new clients to help market and sell their high valued estates through these creative concepts.
