Vellvette Bag Review – June 2013.

I got my Vellvette box bag quite late this time too, I just received it this morning.

Firstly, the delay in receiving it curbed my excitement a lot.

Plus, I had very high expectations from the box bag this time as I loved what others had got. But what I actually got didn’t really meet my expectations.

Firstly, as you all must be aware by now, this month’s theme was “Travel” and Vellvette has sent a super pretty pink bag/pouch instead of the usual black box.

Moving on to what’s inside the bag,

The first thing I noticed was these Sisley samples – ughh how I hate these sample sachets. You can get them for free over the counter. :/

Next up, the LA Splash glitter eyeliner. It looks gorgeous in the bottle.

From this too, I had relatively high hopes, but it’s just blue glitter suspended in a clear base. Let’s hope I can make use of it – by lining along with black or blue liner or something!

Saving the best for the last – I love… Blueberries and smoothie shower gel! Aahh it smells delicious. It was safely wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent leakage.

It’s a 100ml bottle which is quite a generous size. I am for sure ordering this in 1-2 more flavours from the vellvette website.

After seeing what others got in their June box bag, I had expected to get the eyeliner, shower gel and the Just Herbs kit or something from T&G. and the Sisley sample just broke my heart

Also, I don’t understand the logic behind how some people get that MMM bonus item. And why have I never received it!!

Anyway, this box bag is worth the money for the eyeliner(full size!!), shower gel and even the usability of the bag make it paisa wasool.

Alongwith being pretty, the bag is also perfectly made for carrying your toiletries while traveling and is also spacious enough to carry a lot of stuff. Since, I’m going to be traveling soon, this bag will come to good use super soon

I love the bag and wish Vellvette would keep this bag permanently instead of the box. (Have you seen this beauty subscription abroad, Ipsy? They give out amazing bags like this every month)
