The fifth season of True Blood has introduced a lot of new characters to the show. One of those characters is Salome who is played by Italian actress Valentina Cervi. Hollywood Life was able to catch up with the star and get the latest scoop on our favorite HBO show.
It seems like her character so far this season has had a lot of sex. Well here is what she had to say about that.
“Well…not moe thenlanky body else on the show.”
Before she auditioned for the show was she a fan?
“I had never seen it, so I watched the first four seasons on a weekend. When I got the part, and totally got hooked. I thought ‘Oh my God’ I’m so lucky to be a part of this.”
So during her marathon of the show who did she know that she wanted to work with the most on the show?
“Everybody. Everybody’s so great, and I think they’re even more great. Most of the. Are nothing like the characters they portray. …I’m a fan of all the characters. I’m a Sookie fan, also.”
Salome has been doing a lot of talking this season. Will we see any action from her soon?
“There’s a lot of political issues this year, and that’s what we’re here to develop. So there will be action, for sure, but we’relore part of the intellectual, character-drive, political issue-driven group.”
So there will not be a lot of action? Even with Russell coming back?
“[Working with Denis O'Hare was wonderful.] There are going to be issues with Russell Edgington, of course. There wmoments moments of tension [but no big fight scene with Salome].”
Are you still filming the fifth season?
“We are still filming, yes. We’re filiming the last episode. It’s going to be incredible, crazy, touching, moving – a lot is going on.”
