Tune-yards Channels Peewee in New Video, It’s the Best [video]

We seem to be getting news on tUnE-yArDs just about every other week these days, which honestly is exactly how we always wanted to live — in a world full of great new tUnE-yArDs things. Today, we have been blessed with the video for the first single off Nikki Nack, which is shaping up to be an absolutely incredible record. The video for “Water Fountain”, a song in which I have not stopped singing or clapping along to since it was released several weeks ago, is just as vibrant and singularly bizarre as you would expect. Of course, it also looks a lot like PeeWee’s Playhouse which means that it could be accompanying complete silence and we would still be head-over-heels in love with it. Check out tUnE-yArDs’ warped version of an already warped children’s show above, and if you’re lucky enough to catch her as she starts her tour with Arcade Fire, well, we kinda hate you. Those shows are sure to be amazing.
