5 Pointz is an outdoor warehouse in Queens that is the world’s mecca of graffiti. This space is a true gem of a rather secluded area of Long Island City. Being a fan of modern arts, I was blown away by the amazing designs and colours that 5 Pointz is thoroughly covered with. It’s a sight that you don’t see just anywhere else.
It appears as if graffiti had exploded into over corner of this space. Even the trash cans are not left out!
I was lucky to be able to witness two graffiti artists working away. It’s unfortunate that graffiti often has the reputation of being spontaneous vandalism, since that’s definitely not the case at 5 Pointz.
Whoever drew this Batman is simply amazing.
