Plot: A dark coming of age short where a girls night between two best friends takes a dark turn after one of them invites a mysterious newcomer who promises emotional salvation.

Story: Trauma Bond starts when Zera (Dickinson) visits her best friend Crystal (Dooley). Crystal wants to introduce Zera to her friend Maxine (Dugeau-Heartt) who has helped her with her own problems. While Zera is hesitant, she eventually gets to go on a journey to discover herself. However, the journey isn’t going to be as comfortable as she thought.

Trauma Bond is a drama thriller following a woman given an unusual method to tackle her past traumas. It takes her down a path she wasn’t expecting, leading her down a path of self-discovery.

This is a drama that takes us down the road of learning to understand personal problems. It shows us how people can live with them and sometimes the strangest methods can lead to a chance to recover. This feels like it dives into sensitive subjects that not everyone wants to address. With strong performances, we get an interesting way to deal with the pains life could have caused.
