Plot: When a manipulative sociopath discovers her passion for stock market trading, she sets out to conquer the financial world, all from the confines of her basement apartment.

Story: Trader starts as we meet a manipulative sociopath known only as ‘Trader’ (Murray) who cons her way into money. Once she gets enough money, she dives into the work of stock market trading. She gets into the ruthless model fueled by drugs to creature her ruthless style.

However, once she gets too involved, she finds herself learning the harsh reality of this world. Although, she isn’t going to go down without a fight after she starts learning more of the tricks.  

Verdict on Trader

Trader is a thriller following one woman as she enters the world of stock market trading. She learns the ropes and quickly makes connections. However, she also finds herself dealing with the ruthless members of the community and decides to join them.

This is an intense thriller following the singular character dealing with people on the phone. It shows how in control of every situation she finds herself. Kimberley-Sue Murray is incredible with how she demands the screen and thrives in each interaction. This movie keeps you guessing as to what will happen next and isn’t afraid to step over what you believe to be the line. It shows the ruthless nature of anyone who is involved in the stock market trading world.
