In order of appearance:
1. Alcide leaves Sam and Luna alone with the pack
I have no idea what the Pack rules are or how Alcide is bound to uphold these ‘Wolf Laws’ but from what we have been shown he is not about to back down to them or even take on the Pack responsibilities. But what about the responsibility of helping a brother out because he just had his ass beaten up for keeping your name out of the debacle? How about letting Luna rest and go first because that’s what a gentleman would do and how about lending a helping hand to the injured? Give Sam a shoulder to lean on? I was left very confused at this part because it was obvious once Alcide turned and walked off into the misty bushes the Pack were still a little hungry for Shifter meat. Lucky Luna has a mouth on her and told them all to back off. Perhaps future episodes will make Alcide’s logic a little clearer…but definitely a WTF moment!
2. Terry a possible Pyro?
Terry Bellefleur has hidden demons and as his story unravels we are seeing flash backs of his military past. I am not enjoying his over-heated temper or the fact he is man-handling Arlene. Flashes of fire and men, yells of distorted torcher and the fact Terry is lost in his subconscious during the day and at night spells two possible theories: there is either a supernatural entity or Terry is possibly a ‘fire starter’. Either way it has left us with WTF Terry!
3. Luna and Sam Breakup? The Argument.
In my own opinion, this kind of argument is prevalent in most blended families. I thought the writing was superb in that it was the right fight for these two to finally have. I believed it. But with that said, it doesn’t make the situation any more pleasing to see this couple start out so well to only end up being torn apart by differences. In my personal opinion, Sam bares no weight in how Luna chooses to raise her daughter he is not the legal guardian nor is he blood. He is a very good friend and even friends have to know their place. It was not the right time for Sam to suggest or even attempt to play the ‘good guy’ role, his place is with Luna and while she is ranting and venting that is where he needed to be by her side. Loyalty and trust are hard attributes for solo mothers to give and receive so easily toward a man entering the family circle and nine times out of ten the male is on egg shells until he proves himself up to the challenge of being part of a family previously hurt. I felt the name calling word “Psycho” ripple through me like ice cold water when Sam yelled it out, but one word that left my mouth when he said that was most definitely WTF Sam! So not fair!
4. Emma is a Wolf!
When I saw the opening to this scene I knew Emma would be a wolf. What I did not expect to see was a baby wolf! So cute! I was sighing like a little kid at a pet shop. However, it was a little strange that she would turn without her mother’s intuitions kicking into overdrive that there was a possible animal in her daughter’s bedroom. Memories of Sam sniffing when there was something other than human lurking would give it away that there was a different presence. But Luna was just casually looking in on Emma because of the loud noises coming from her room. It almost felt like Luna was having a dream. We will have to see WTF is going on in the next episode.
5. Russell is deformed!
I am not going to lie. Russell you are ugly! If Freddy Krueger didn’t get your heart racing, I am sure this inhumane sight will. I understand he is trying to regenerate, but I was completely grossed out and not to mention when his tongue started flicking around the corners of his mouth to where the blood was…GROSS! Lucky I wasn’t eating because that was all kinds of wrong. Russell has been out for a while now…so why so long at getting himself sorted? Why the slurping of the blood in the corners of his mouth? We only have ten more episodes to go in this season so WTF is up with Russell’s face?
