TLB's 2014 Picks ...

Posted on the 01 January 2014 by Tlb Music Blog @TLB_Blog
So, 2013 has ended, you've ha far too much to eat and drink, and you're already prepped to break your 'well thought out' resolution. We're here to hand a waver over those unimportant distractions, and get you in the know with our picks, or ones to watch, for the year ahead. We've decided to take one person to watch from three categories this year, if you will.
TLB's 2014 Picks ...Group: MTNS
If you've read anything that we've said about MTNS this year then you won't really be surprised by this pick. The Australian trio have wowed us time and time again and with an incredible EP under their belt, being picked as our track of the year, and a Q+A Session soon to hit out blog, we can't wait to keep on top of every single thing they do this year.

TLB's 2014 Picks ...Female Artist: Molly Beanland
Molly has only featured in our posts a couple of times, but in that, her single, Night Dreams, has really managed to stand out and make an impression on us. So much so, has this made an impression, that we really are tipping this girl for success. We want to see her in concert, we want to see her name up in lights, we can't wait to hear some more from her, and pray that she keeps up the style she's currently playing at.

TLB's 2014 Picks ...Male Artist: Sam Smith
The man that everyone has tipped for success this year, is also our man of the year. Sam Smith has amazed us a ridiculous amount of times in 2013, and whilst he is technically yet to release a single at all, his new track, Money On My Mind, is set to put him on track to become one of the best new artists to ever come from the UK. His collaborations with Disclosure and Naughty Boy may have well helped him on his way, but Sam Smith is about to create his own path, and for anyone involved, you're a lucky, lucky thing!
Paul.
