Seriously, this Akinator app is pretty impressive.
To play, just think of a person—either real or fictional—and the Akinator will ask you questions to try and figure out who you are thinking of. It’s insanely accurate.
It’s guessed correctly 8 out of the 10 times I’ve played. Some of the real-life people and fictional characters I thought of that it guessed correctly:
Jordan Baker from The Great Gatsby
Dominique Wilkins (retired NBA player)
Walt from Lost
Chris McCandless from Into The Wild
Rudy from The Cosby Show
The key is to answer honestly. If you aren’t 100% sure of the answer, click on “I don’t know,” “probably,” or “probably not.” And make sure you know the character or person pretty well because it can ask some specific questions.
