The Tallest Tree are a band formed by Dawn Larsh from Dundas, ON and Armando Vega from Mexico City. Long story short; they met in Canada when Vega's band The Oats was on tour, fell in love, cried a lot at airports when they had to so goodbye, got married and now live a cozy life in Dundas writing garage rock songs with a bit of grunge.
With guest vocalist Marra Koren they have just released Boat, their first single, an upbeat ditty with infectious three-part harmonies. Recommended if you like Robyn Hitchcock, Nick Lowe and Jonathan Richman.
