Episode 9 – Life on the Fast Lane
Couch Gag – This time we don’t get one.
Plot Synopsis – Marge contemplates an affair with a handsome bowling instructor.
What is going on really – Lisa and Bart making birthday breakfast or Marge making a mess of the kitchen as they get on with it, but Homer has forgotten forcing him to go shopping last minute.
Homer as always messes up by buying a bowling ball for Marge despite the fact Marge has never bowled in her life. Wanting to prove to Homer that she will keep the gift Marge learns to bowl under the tutorage of seductive bowler Jacques.
We see how Homer must look after the kids while Marge is trying to make a difficult decision finding herself racked with guilt. This episode show how the Simpsons will always go through difficult situations but however hard they are they will always come out on top.

Final Thoughts – This shows us what we will be getting from the show even if nothing ever goes through as Marge goes through what is the most difficult decision of her life picking Homer or Jacques.
