What’s new Metalhead! I bring you today some interesting news about my friend Nikos Siglidis and his band called The Silent Rage. These fantastic Greek metallers from Athens have announced two important news about their band’s future. I have honored to announce them to you.
The band is going to enter to the studio at the 25th of August for the recording of their new album, which will contain eleven songs featured out of the total thirteen songs that they are going to record. This new album is going to be recorded at DevasoundZ Studios in Athens, this is a well known studio which has worked with bands like SepticFlesh, Rotting Christ, Karma Violens or Endsight.
Fotis Benardo (SepticFlesh, SiXforNinE) is going to be the one who will take care of the recording procedure, the mixing and the mastering. Also, some very special guests are going to participate on the album, whose title hasn’t been finalized yet.
This is also the next step to the musical direction of the band, with the songs being in a more aggressive mode that what you have been used to know from The Silent Rage in the past. Some titles are: “Stormwarrior”, “The Deadliest Scourge”, “Sin Of A Pilgrim”, “Between Harmony & Sorrow”.
The second great new from The Silent Rage band is that during the recordings they are going to take a small pause for a special show in Athens. They are going to take participation as an opening act to the upcoming Athens show of German metallers Grave Digger, on September 19th, at Kyttaro Live. I am absolutely convinced that this is going to be a great show with two fantastic metal bands that you should not miss!
