Recap, Remixed: Introducing The Seed

August 1, 2014

The Seed: Positively Plant Based is amping up for its third-annual installment of The Seed Experience, a two-day vegan takeover to be held in downtown Manhattan that invites vegans and vegan-curious community members to explore wellness, lifestyle, and education topics through the lenses of vegan influencers. The much anticipated event is slated for August 9th and 10th at 82 Mercer Street in SOHO. Those interested are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible to snag their spots at this one-of-a-kind event, as tickets are limited.

With healthy, clean, plant-based eating being at the center of the vegan lifestyle, The Seed Experience has amassed a docket of some of the industry’s yummiest brands. Sought-after vegan-fueled headlining sponsors, including Whole Foods markets, Nuwi organic quinoa snacks, The Chia Co chia seeds, the National Gourmet Institute and Vega plant-based protein powder, will all be on-site offering amazing innovations to the healthy-eating menu.

Once guests have gotten their fill of The Seed Experience’s amazing food partners, there will be lots to learn from the event’s panel of industry leaders in the form of talks, demonstrations and workshops. Keynote presenters will include Erika Mitchener from Everyday Tai Chi, Jenne Clairiborn from Quick & Easy Recipes for a Delicious Kitchen, and many more.

Foreshadowing the main event, The Seed hosted an exclusive preview this past Tuesday, July 29th, presenting a lively first look at this year’s Seed Experience to local media. Held at downtown Manhattan restaurant Rockin’ Raw, the evening offered samples from vegan-friendly brands Glam Natural and A.Dorn Nails, and healthy bites and sips from KIND, Oatworks, Arty Water, Bruce Coast Ginger Ale, Sexypop Popcorn and SkinnyGirl cocktails. The event also dialed up the conversation on social media with a fun Instagram photo printing booth.

Overall, the upcoming Seed Experience event is sure to be a must-see for die hard vegans, vegan skeptics and people who are simply seeking inspiration for a healthier, more sustainable, and fresher way of life. With a diverse selection of presenters and participating brands, this year’s Experience will surely have an huge impact on the way NYC eats, learns and lives. Want in?
