The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Three Films, Release Dates, and Title Cards

Marvel Studios held a #MarvelEvent today, which took Twitter and the internet by storm, when they announced their Phase Three films, along with release dates, and showing off the title cards as well.

Since the first Iron Man, Marvel Studios has been setting the standard for how to build a cohesive universe that spans across multiple films. They proved themselves with the success of The Avengers, and have continued to raise the bar higher. Today however, it could be said that Marvel Studios dropped the preverbal mic when they made their announcement for the films they have on tap for their “Phase 3”.

To say that what Marvel plans to tackle with Phase 3 is massive, would be an understatement. They start right off the bat, with what most had been anticipating, and that is Captain America: Civil War, which will be a result of the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The other big news related to the new Captain America film, is that it will finally introduce Black Panther, which has been a desired character since the original Avengers announcement.

Along with Black Panther getting his own film, we also have a new solo film announce, in the form of Carol Danvers’ Captain Marvel, who has been rumored to be making a cameo appearance in Age of Ultron, but even if she doesn’t, we know we will be getting Carol in the MCU!

The new blood for Phase 3 doesn’t end there as we’ll be getting Doctor Strange and an Inhumans film, sprinkled throughout the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, Thor: Ragnarok, and two (yes two!) additional Avengers films.
