Story: The Last Shift starts as veteran fast-food night manager Stanley (Jenkins) is preparing to move away from the area, with his last assignment to train ex-con Jevon (McGhie) who is looking to put his life together for his family.

As the pair start to bond, they will learn about the generational differences they are going through, as Jevin must learn to take responsibility, while Stanely needs to learn to escape this trapped environment.

Thoughts on The Last Shift

The Last Shift is a comedy drama that will show how lives can come together in the workplace between two people that would never mix in a normal day from two different backgrounds. They will come together to see the same problems in life. But will show the differences they have lived through, showing how the world isn’t created equal for all. The film will show us just how easily you can work with someone who has differences with you, who could help each other make life better for environment.

Richard Jenkins is at his natural best, while Shane Paul McGhie shines next to him through the whole film. The Last Shift is a film that shows life can put people down different paths, some are good, some are bad, it is about the ones we walk together that are the most important.

Final Thoughts – The Last Shift is a strong life drama, mixed with a few laughs along the way.
