Verdict on The Last Rifleman

The Last Rifleman is a comedy-drama following a WWII veteran running away from his care home for a celebration of the D-Day landings. It follows his journey filled with problems as he looks to make his way there. Along the way, he meets friends and foes, as he looks to make the difficult journey.

This is a movie that has a striking resemblance to ‘The Great Escaper’ which came out a few months ago. It has the same journey concept from Ireland this time. The memories are similar and the unlikely friendship made along the way too. There is still a massive heart about the movie even if Pierce Brosnan is difficult to take as a 92-year-old.

Final ThoughtsThe Last Rifleman is an emotional journey of remembrance.
