Virginia’s finest folk band, The Last Bison, sure knows how to light up a crowd. Their set at our 3rd anniversary show last December rivaled any I’ve witnessed since starting The Wild Honey Pie — their charisma, their energy, their love of the art they create. This is a band that truly knows who they are, and more importantly, what they want their music to say.

‘Buzzsessions’ is a live session series made by The Wild Honey Pie. With each new episode, we travel with a different band to a different part of New York City and record sometimes-intimate/sometimes-wild versions of two or three songs. This Buzzsession was shot at Degraw Sound, a Brooklyn recording studio on the Park Slope/Gowanus border, owned and operated by producer/engineer/musician Ben Rice (Blackbells, The Mooney Suzuki).
