When the rescue attempt gets underway, Rafe (Mandylor) takes control of the situation. However, with the waters rising, they find themselves facing a different threat, the alligators that have taken over the station. Now, everyone must put their differences aside if they are to make it out alive.

Verdict on The Flood

The Flood is an action horror following a group of police officers and criminals who join forces during a hurricane. They have come under attack from alligators as flood water starts filling up the police precinct. Now, they must band together to figure out how to get out alive.

This feels like a mix of Hard Rain and Crawl, where the hurricane is used as a cover for a criminal operation. While they come under attack by alligators along the waters. It does the typical group of people with big differences needing to work together to survive. The environment is used well, even if the CGI on the alligators isn’t the best. It is entertaining and anyone who enjoys the alligator attack movies should get a kick out of this movie.

Final ThoughtsThe Flood is a fun creature feature.
