Verdict on The Chalk Line

The Chalk Line is a mystery horror following a couple that take in a missing girl to help understand who she is. Communication becomes difficult with a language barrier between Spanish and German. As the couple spend time with the young girl, they start experiencing strange events around the home.

The movie does an excellent job of creating a mystery about what is going on. It teases down a couple of different lines of where things could end up going before giving us just a shocking conclusion. There is a disturbing truth behind the movie that could hit hard in reality.

The performance from Elena Anaya is the standout as a character struggling to hold everything together. While the truth brings one of the coldest performances you will see this year.

Where to Watch: The Chalk Line is available on Netflix now.

Final ThoughtsThe Chalk Line is a chilling, disturbing and unsettling thriller.
