'The Biggest Loser' is More Than Just a TV Show

One of my favorite programs to watch has to be ‘The Biggest Loser’. I advise my clients and friends to watch it, because not only is it a great show, but it is so inspirational. ‘Contestants’ who go on the show, are desperate to lose weight, and some of them, it can actually be life or death...
I’m sure many countries have their own version, but the main ones in my eyes are the UK, USA and Australia. All three have top trainers on there. The UK version has Richard Callender and Charlotte Ord, the USA version has Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels, and the Australia version has Shannan Ponton and Michelle Bridges. Watching them at work is just amazing. That’s the great thing about the show, it’s not only inspirational for overweight viewers watching the ‘contestants’ lose weight, but its inspirational or personal trainers and nutritionists. I love watching the trainers at work, they all have different styles, but all of them are great at what they do. The show covers gym workouts, outdoor workouts, nutrition, weigh-ins, and also some psychological things. You will see some trainers try and get inside their ‘clients’ minds. The mind is a major factor when it comes to weight. People can go through many different things that can lead to weight loss, and that in turn can cause them to put weight on. You will see trainers shout at the contestants from time to time, but you also see their softer side with them, which I think is great.
This show really is amazing, and I believe just by watching it, you can lose weight, because it will give you that kick up the backside that some of you might need. I urge everyone to watch this show!
