The Beekeeper (2024) Review

When Adam Clay heads on a brutal campaign for revenage he wants to take down the people responsible for the death of a close friend, what wasn’t banked on was that he had been an operative in an organisation known as “Beekeepers”.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

The suicide of retired schoolteacher Eloise Parker sends Adam Clay back into a world he had thought he had left, after she was the victim of a phishing scam and is robbed of money that mainly belongs to a charity she manages. After Clay was accused of killing her when eventually being released he finds out from the FBI that the group behind the scam have been on their radar but very difficult to track.

This was not something Clay was going to just leave and forget about he contacts the Beekeepers to help him find who the scammers are to address the person responsible. This then creates a very big chase scenario and everything is about to fly into action. With plenty of twists and turns in an attempt to keep the plot even more interesting as it develops and we learn who is behind it all.

By this point we really do know what to expect from Jason Statham and he is built up in a very good manner for this type of film, which is enjoyable and watchable enough. Probably one of his better ones in all honesty. I think having Jeremy Irons in a supporting role was a good choice and something I really enjoyed. Josh Hutcherson was allowed to go rather psycho as well which created some amusing moments.
