We were only too happy to spend part of the day at the in-laws’ which included getting fed at Mother-in-Law Restaurante. Paulo and Ice hiked more than 20km yesterday near Tua while I stayed home to work. Thus, it was unanimously decided that Sunday be dedicated to any other activity. We also volunteered this afternoon, which rounded out the weekend nicely.

Summer’s exit was a prompt to capture some of the in-laws’ backyard in its current state, which happened to include a rare grasshopper sighting. When I first saw it I didn’t think it looked like a grasshopper, but after squinting at umpteen Google images I decided it couldn’t be anything else.

Which brings us to today’s prato da dia (plate of the day): bacalhau com todos (bacalhau with everything).
