Well if you came to this here blog yesterday, you know I pretty much had the worst day on earth the day before. It was literally one thing after another and I wanted to crawl in a hole or bathroom or something and cry for 10 hours.
But I survived it.  And then I woke up, faced the new day, and reminded myself it's normal.
It's normal to want to rip your hair out because you cleaned another pile of pee off the floor.
It's normal to hit up the McDonald's drive-thru because you don't have an ounce of energy left to cook a meal.
It's normal to scream, and yell, and cry. In fact, it makes me more human.
I've recently taken on a new job, maintained this here blog, been raising two kids and caring for two dogs. Me. All me. The army can be a biatch sometimes and well, this just happens to be one of those times.
But I realized I can do it. I have the strength to push through all of this crap and come out on top. I can be a mom, a wife, have a job, be a writer, clean the house, cook the meals, do the laundry, bathe the kids, and somehow find time to take care of myself. I CAN DO IT. Rinse, rather, repeat.
It's not easy but hey, sometimes we don't have a choice right? It could always be worse and I've been told that one day I will actually miss this chaos. And while I'm not sure about all of that, I do know that I'm lucky to have such a great little family and the opportunities I've had come my way recently.
So excuse my bitchfests here and there; as you all know, this blog is therapeutic sometimes and whether I get 1 comment or 70 comments, sitting down and filling this little white box just somehow makes my heart feel better. And not only that? Those that read this blog have turned into a support system when I do have days like I had the other day. Texts, tweets, comments.. you all rock my world.
So with that, I'm kicking off this long weekend and awaiting the arrival of my best friend. YES! My best friend from Fort Drum who now lives down south is coming to visit and I couldn't be more excited if I tried. Sorry in advance for clogging your Instagram with our weekend funness. #butreallysorryimnotsorry
