Deadpool is one of the most popular characters among Marvel Comics fans, so it's no surprise to see Marvel Studios wanting to make a movie with this awesome dude. Actually, they tried to make it happen. Marvel hired Tim Miller to direct the film and got Ryan Reynolds to play the main role. Apparently, they have done some test footage. Sadly, Twentieth Century Fox wasn't so thrilled to give the green light for the film.
The test footage is a short sequence in CG animation form, featuring the voice of Ryan Reynolds himself. It was made basically for Twentieth Century Fox, to show what the movie would look like. The test footage looks so good, I even forgot that it's CG for a second there. Check it out in HD after the jump.
Don't get your hopes down, the film hasn't been cancelled yet. The fate of the Deadpool movie is still hanging in balance. Let's hope this video going viral would give Fox a reason to order the movie.
