Last summer, we began taking notes on Brighton, UK’s TIME FOR T for their bold but playful take on rock. The boys are now set to release their debut EP as a signed band (BBE Records) on November 24, and we just happen to have its first single on hand for you to enjoy. “Long Day Home” was written on “a sleep-deprived night after a psychedelic experience” and talks of needing to go home and recover. “My skin is paste and my hair is oil/Feeling like a long day home/Well I just wanna touch/Some familiar soil.”

The total exhaustion he sings of may very well be due to TIME FOR T’s insane year on the road completing three European tours including five festivals and playing countless sold out headlining shows from Brighton to Paris and Madrid to Lisbon. The frenzy points to their unique sound that toys with classic psychedelic rock, at times leaning towards folk, that crushes hard on world sounds. “Long Day Home” is a prime example of their divergence with several tone changes and chill island vibes surfacing throughout the track’s conversation about turning his brain off and regrouping in his “natural habitat”. The track emanates their signature mellow feel that makes TIME FOR T so fun to hear. Check out the premiere of TIME FOR T’s “Long Day Home” feat. Andrew Stuart-Buttle above and stay tuned for more on their upcoming EP.
