Survivor: South Pacific - Meet EdnaName: Edna MaAge: 35Tribe designation: UpoluCurrent residence: Los AngelesOccupation: Anesthesiologist

Personal claim to fame: I was the first in my family to finish college. I subsequently went onto complete medical school and am board certified in anesthesiology.Inspiration in life: Oprah. She overcame poverty, abuse and numerous other challenges/adversities to become one of the most influential women in the world.Hobbies: Traveling, learning new things and going to new restaurants.Pet peeves: Idleness, liars and deception.3 words to describe you: Self-starter, adventurous and ambitious.Survivor contestant you are most like: Mick Trimming for his diplomacy.Reason for being on Survivor: It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I want the experience! Why you think you'll "survive" Survivor: I'm a critical thinker and I'm good at tasks and building a team. Why you think you will be the sole Survivor: I'm determined and I believe I can achieve anything I set my sights on. Edna is a tough cookie to break. I've seen a YouTube video of her on a TV show and she seems cool and very likable, on the other hand, I have her pinned down as bossy, elitist and a bit fake. Her tribe has a lot of people who show strong personalities and possible leadership skills and she might clash with them if she goes on assuming that role.I don't see her as a physical person and I'm not sure if she will be able to take on an important position within the tribe. Upolu already has a couple of strong females and she might be dispensable. On the other hand, the tribe has a female majority, and she might just be the one to unite them.

My take: nay.I don't really like her at this point, she didn't strike me as someone I'd root for or someone who could impress me further along in the game.
