Popularity of Tamil actors and Tamil films in Kerala is nothing new. We have seen in the past many successful Tamil films having a dream run in Kerala too with record release and sensational reception. Ilalathalapathy Vijay’s last release Thuppaki was so huge that the Malayalam film industry thought of imposing a limit on the release. But if one were to check the release list of Suriya’s latest Singham 2, it looks like that restriction is far from being implemented.
Singham 2 is going to have a massive 151 theater record release in Kerala tomorrow, with shows beginning from as early as 5:30 AM. The last film from Suriya too had good opening but fizzled out soon. Will Singham 2 with its record release create new records at the box office and erase the failure of last film. Keep checking this space for update on this front.
