Photo SUMMER AT PRINTEMPS
So now that the summer season is finally here in terms of fashion: Printemps dept store have up dated there window display accordingly. And none other than my friend, talented artist/artists assistant (Ophelie Karmowski) helped create this beautiful display.
Regis R, prince of plastic was commissioned to do this piece, and it so happens that my friend is his assistant. Together, they created this Cherry blossom tree from recycled pipes and plastic bags - can you believe that? Recycling is Regis R’s middle name, and if you have seen my past blogs, you will see how astounding his work can be, but to date this is my favorite, because it is simple and beautiful, in stark contrast to his usual comic, quirky or slightly morbid creations.
