Ruel Adona, alias ‘Alipato,’ 43, leaps in a suicide attempt in this series of photos from the EDSA-Timog Flyover in Quezon City last Tuesday. Personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority rushed to catch the distressed Payatas resident with a rescue cushion but failed to catch him. Adona, however survived his death leap with only a broken hand and some bruises.
