Here’s another great video from one of our favourites – Spring Offensive. ‘Bodylifting’ finds the band in fighting-fit form, both in sound and in the video, conceived and directed by band members Matt Cooper and Lucas Whitworth.
Opening with a swirling and rhythmic chant of ‘I feel your body lifting, I feel a shape is shifting’, the song is full of self-awareness and reflection, ‘I wish I had money, I wish I had self control’, while the harmonic melodies absorb themselves deeply into your psyche. The video finds the band getting in shape for an important performance in front of many industry professionals… When the dodgeball match finally starts, things don’t go quite to plan. Despite this, Spring Offensive are still champions in our eyes.
