Sparkly Chillwave from Ghost Loft [stream]

Ghost Loft (@ghostloft) is the lo-fi, electro project from Los Angeles producer Danny Choi. With distant, echoey, electronic sounds, Ghost Loft wouldn’t sound out of place on your iPod alongside The xx and Purity Ring — think minimalistic electronic arrangements and a luscious production style. Drum machine backed rhythms and shimmering synths swirl around heart-aching lyrics, resulting in some super sexy, sparkly chillwave that borders on RnB. When Choi isn’t producing, he’s remixing, putting his own spin on jj’s ”Beautiful Life” and Icky Blossoms’ ”Heat Lightning”. Although we’ve yet to hear any news on an EP or LP, Choi has released three original tracks and two remixes since March, all of which are available to listen to/buy on Ghost Loft’s website.
