This past Sunday at Bowery Ballroom, the beautiful Maria Minerva warmed up the crowd with her electronic tunes and powerful voice, followed by Snowmine’s beautifully melodic, chill set that carried a soulful essence similar to bands like Fleet Foxes. When Small Black emerged onto the stage, they did so with an enormous amount of energy that was transferred directly to the crowd. Screaming, singing, and dancing ensued, as the band performed tracks from Limits of Desire as well as their earlier work.
