Slice of Life Comedy Presents Comedian Blayr Nias at PULP Tomorrow Night, Raffle Benefits Asheville Musician Red Honey

Slice of Life Comedy presents a comedy showcase featuring comedian Blayr Nias tomorrow night at the PULP.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m., show starts at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $5, which includes a year membership to the Pulp.

About Nias:

Blayr Nias lives by the creedo “If you can’t be a good example, then you’ll have to be a horrible warning.”  She hits the stage with ferocity and high octane humor sharing tales of her misadventures as a post-modern, wisecracking,  bad girl next door.  This Massachusetts native graduated from the George Washington University with a degree in Theater and Creative Writing.  She was featured in the Pink Collar Comedy tour at the Piccolo Spoletto festival and she has opened for Natasha Leggero, Ralphie May, Broken Lizzard (Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan) Josh Wolf, Chris Kattan, Neal Brennan, Jon Reep, and DL Hughley.  She currently writes and performs comedy in Charlotte, NC.

Joining Nias on stage will be comedians Kelly Row, Art Sturtevant, Fay Canale, Jaysun Webb, Macon Clark, John Michael Bond, Hillary Begley, Mimi J. Benfield, Ryan Van Genderen, Dave Bradford and the evening’s festivities will be hosted by Petey Smith McDowell.

The Slice girls will hold a raffle along with the event with all proceeds going to local band Red Honey. Red Honey had the new album fund stolen out of her car and Red Honey will use the proceeds to produce the band’s new album.
