Hey nerds, have you heard the news? Like their much vaulted indie rock brethren before them, Sigur Rós are going to appear on the greatest TV fantasy epic ever, Game of Thrones. There’s very little info yet on what they’ll be doing, or what music they’ll be preforming, but we do know that they’re currently filming on location in Croatia. So, Sigur Rós will actually physically appear on Game of Thrones, unlike, say, The National, who just lent a song to it. Luckily, because we all love them so much, it’s very likely that they’ll only appear so George RR Martin can summarily execute them and display their heads on spikes above a wall for us all to weep silently over….
