🥡 pandemic picnic * ep 4 // @shamelessbuns

Shameless Buns combines two of my favourite things: delicious food and sexual innuendoes. They started out as a "jeepney"-inspired food truck; now they're opening up an actual storefront on Fraser St.

Not Your Lola's Chicken Adobo - braised low n' slow, atchara (pickled papaya slaw), garlic calamansi (aka Philippine lime/lemon) aioli, tomato, green onion and fried garlic. With the juicy and saucy meat, don't expect to have a clean face while eating this. The richness of this bun was balanced by the bright punchiness from the slaw and green onion.

The Little Sausage - longaniza (filipino sweet and spicy pork sausage), atchara, banana ketchup, "sexy"egg, sriracha mayo, green onion, fried garlic. Who wouldn't love a tiny sausage gracing their taste buds with its sweet- and savouriness.

Surprisingly, the Sinigang fries were my favourite that day. They were incredibly addictive with its crunch and tanginess. The acidity negated any sensation of feeling like a fatty after devouring the entire tray. If you sign up for their email list, you can get a free order!
