When there's doom and gloom around us, it's important to find light in the darkness. Shimmering and glistening is the geometrically pleasing gem, Paragon Tea Room. @thehippochanand I shared the Hojicha Obsidian Oat Misto ($6) - which was hard to share 'cos of its deliciousness #whydontCHAgetyourown. Stone milled into a shadowy powder, the Hojicha Obsidian whisked in toasty and smokey flavours with mild sweetness and subtle cocoa notes. Sipping this drink in the brisk Autumn was the culinary equivalent of snuggling under a weighted blanket on chilly night ~ so comforting that it almost made me forget about the chaos happening around the world.
