Forget about visiting cathedrals in France or Italy. A tiny mini town in Spain will have the most amazing church ever. Churches here are as big or larger than many European cathedrals! It’s all about devotion. And the Spanish were very devoted during their Golden Age. Most of the churches in Mallorca are about 500 years-old. This one, Selva’s church, is 800 years-old. If you take Palma’s Cathedral, for instance (it is so immense that you can fit Paris’ Notre Dam Cathedral there), the Spanish started to build it around 1200, and finished its construction 400 years later.
