Happy Belated Birthday to the one and only, Amanda Fucking Palmer.
One of my favorite songs of hers is the "Ukulele Anthem." I can never stay sad listening to that song. And when she was here in Portland a few years ago, she randomly sang in front of Powells Books. I can't wait for her to come back to Portland and actually see her effervescence in person!
Here's a video of her impromptu Powells romp, having borrowed someone's card as a pick and having people help hold her up as she plays the entire song standing on a bike rack rail.
