What a tune. From the days when hip hop was great, creative and had something to say. It's almost inevitable that when any genre becomes cool, the major labels decide to homogenize and commercialise it until it end up as nothing but a flaccid shadow of its former self. Hip hop sure was great before those cunts got hold of it... Here's an old skool classic, one from the CD compilation 'Rock-It' (more info HERE), which was released in 1998. I got hold of a copy in late 1999, when my tastes were becoming more eclectic, and this particular track was one of my many favourites from that brilliant collection...
