♥ Review and Swatches: Maybelline New York Lip Polish in Glam 12 ~ A Liquid Color Balm By Color Sensational ♥

Maybelline Newyork's latest launch, the Lip Polish has taken us all by surprise with Gorgeous Colors, Lovely packaging and 15 Hypnotic shades. Today am reviewing Glam 12, one of the 15 shades from this latest line.


Claims - Shine of a Lipgloss, Color of a Lipstick, Care of a lipbalm
Pigmentation - The pigmentation is amazing, one swipe gave good amount of color. No need of layering, little goes a long way.
See no need of layering ~

Finish/Texture/Formula - Non-sticky, Weight-less, smooth formula
Lasting Power - Not a long lasting, fades soon with a very faint tint of color and fine milled shimmer which left lips amazingly Hypnotic *-*Seriously, believe me !!

Scent - No perceivable strong scent
Packaging - Its kinda looks like lipstick at first look which is fun, the teardrop doe foot applicator makes it easy applying the polish, and the see-through transparent tube allows you to see the color.



Price/Availability - Priced at 450R and are available all most in all Maybelline Counters across the city. Not yet seen on any online site though at the moment.

What i ♥ ~

• Colors are pretty gorgeous, not too vibrant and not to bright. Suits all age group. Particularly this Glam 12 is a gorgeous Watermelon Red.
• Formula is not too sticky, just the right amount of color, enough glossy and teh balm makes it more appealing and perfect for daily wear.
• Didn't leave the lips dry after it faded, a faint balmy texture was still on for sometime (giving you enough time to re-apply just incase)
• I like that it did leave a faint tint of color (incase of Glam 12) and that shimmer made the lips look still moist and hydrated.
• Pigmentation is amazing like i said, 1 swipe gave enough color.

What i don't ♥ ~

• Personally i would have loved to have more choice in colors and little more vibrant colors too.

I got a perfect shade of Red to be frank. Glam 12 would be perfect as a day wear, just the right amount of color, not overtly bright and great color for office wear too (if dabbed with tissue to take off that glossy glam look) and this Winter Season nothing could have been more perfect than this Lip Polish which has a bit of balm. Dry lips taken care of, good amount of color and shiny lips a gloss can offer; can we ask for more??
