Recounting the personal experiences in every instance, even if that is qualified as being “not evidence”, has an obvious side effect. It still persuades the client (and by extension, the audience) to believe something unexplained (and potentially paranormal) is happening, and thus the actual “evidence” being presented is taken in that context.
