Story: Rent-A-Man starts when Jackie (Jormi D) pays Dillon (Baranski) to keep him company on a hike into the desert. Jackie starts by trying to learn more about Dillon as the unusual deal feels uncomfortable for the pair of them. However, as they spend time together, secrets about the two start coming out.

The deeper they go, the more of a cat-n-mouse series of conversations unfold. However, the truth about the meeting is what both men truly want and waiting to see why drives things forward.

Verdict on Rent-A-Man

Rent-A-Man is a thriller following two strangers going into the desert. One has paid for the company of the other, however, the mystery as to why they are so remote takes over the story. It all leads to a series of conversations that could hold the secret about what is wanted by the meeting.

This is an interesting thriller that keeps us guessing as to what the meeting is truly about. It has a feeling similar to the Matt Damon and Casey Affleck movie ‘Gerry’. The lead performances are great and keep the audience engaged with their conversations. This ends up being an interesting story, that keeps you on tender hooks about what is really going on.

Final ThoughtsRent-A-Man is a compelling journey between strangers.
