Rating the Habs Top Offensive-players at Even-strength (season and Playoffs)

By Kicks @Chrisboucher73
Even-strength possession rating (season and playoffs combined)
The graph included here is an attempt to rate each player's ability to create offense This is calculated by multiplying the number of scoring-chances they create for every 1 attempted puck-possession play by the number of puck-possession plays they contribute per-minute of even-strength ice-time. In theory, the players who rate high using this system not only create more scoring-chances per-puck-possession play, they also engage in more puck-possession plays per-minute played.
This takes how efficient a player is at creating scoring-chances, and combines it with how often they have possession of the puck. This graph does not include point totals. That said, the players who have rated high within this system are also among the Habs leading even-strength point-producers; a testament to the accuracy of the data tracked.
A list of all the metrics I track can be found here
EVEN-STRENGTH POSSESSION RATINGS
The top even-strength possession-rating among defensemen was produced by PK Subban. Nathan Beaulieu had  an impressive possession rating, but had a smaller sample size. Andrei Markov also had a substantially-higher possession rating than the other Montreal defensemen.
The lowest possession rating among d-men was produced by Douglas Murray, while Josh Gorges and Francis Bouillon also produced low possession-ratings.
Among centres, David Desharnais had a slightly better possession-rating than Lars Eller, while Ryan White produced  the lowest possession rating.
Among wingers, Thomas Vanek had the top possession-rating. In fact, Vanek's rating was higher than any other Montreal player. Max Pacioretty had the second-best possession rating, while Brendan Gallagher was also among the possession-rating leaders.
Not surprisingly, the lowest rating this season was produced by George Parros. Among wingers with larger sample sizes, Travis Moen actually produced the lowest possession rating.
